A late thanksgiving note

 ‎"You know, I heard they once celebrated a day..... something about turkey and eating a lot." Ja'k muttered, kicking at the dirt. Thade smiled kindly, with a rare knowing look. "It was about thanks, and being thankful for what you have." He whispered, his voice happy as it thought about better times. Ishura scoffed. "Turkey sounds better."
